Modern-day Fusion: Chinese Food
As a famous saying goes, “Nothing in this world is permanent, except change.” True enough everything in this world doesn’t stay the same way as before. New discoveries are made quite so often that revisions and corrections are not a surprise anymore. Many aspects of human life are being subjected to this kind of change quite so often that many things are considered pass? in shorter periods of time as compared before. One of the aspects of life that is often subjected to this kind of treatment is food. In the succeeding paragraphs, fusion with Chinese food and other kinds of food will be talked about.
Chinese food had undergone tremendous changes over the years not only in form of revising some parts of Chinese cuisine but also the creation of new recipes that can be enjoyed in the years to come. Through the years, many newly-discovered ingredients are being added to the already wide-range of Chinese food selection. Some of these spices, herbs and other types of food are infused with local recipes to create a more distinct flavor to Chinese food. Also the arrival of foreign individuals and the migration and interaction of Chinese to other parts of the world brought about modern-day fusion of Chinese food and foreign delicacies. An example of fusion of these foods is tidbits of Peking duck rolled into lettuce leaves or eaten with homemade salsa, a fusion between Mexican or Southern American food and Chinese cuisine.
Not every fusion of these foods is readily accepted by the public or by the locals. But then again, without these “changes” people will not be able to enjoy new kinds of food, delectable or not.
